ORIENTATIONS

IMPORTERS OF FINE ASIAN ANTIQUES
As of January 2024, Orientations has closed its retail stores and continues to operate online. Art, furnishings and sculptures are selected and imported from their countries of origin.
  • 1973
    Orientations is founded in downtown San Francisco, embracing a passion for preserving history.
  • 1980s
    The store expands its space in Honolulu and San Francisco to accommodate a growing collection.
  • 1990
    Orientations opens in Beverly Hills.
  • 2006 - 2008
    Orientations meticulously restores the G.T. Marsh Building and Gardens to its earlier grandeur and purpose. Now on the National Register of Historic Places.
  • 2008 - 2020
    The store opens in its doors in old Monterey.
  • 2021 - 2023
    Orientations relocates to and opens in downtown San Francisco.
  • 2024
    Orientations changes its format from an in-store to on-line business.
